Spiritual Beliefs

Let's take a look at some scripture from the Bible, New King James Version. If you can, I recommend you read it aloud to yourself. Here we go:

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23)

What does that say to you?

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

What does that say to you?

"Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)

So, according to these last two verses, why did Jesus come to die?

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" (John 14:6)

What does that say to you?

"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.'" (Romans 10:9-11)

What does that say to you?

"and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." (2 Corinthians 5:15)

What does that say to you?

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20)

What does that say to you?

Let me ask you just a few more questions, please.

Are you a sinner?
Do you want forgiveness for your sins?
Do you believe Jesus died on the cross for you and rose again?
Are you willing to surrender your life to Christ?
Are you ready to invite Jesus into your heart and into your life?

If you answered yes to those last questions, then please read and pray the following prayer, (or choose your own words as God leads you):

Heavenly Father, I have sinned against You. I want forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Father, I give You my life to do with as You wish. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. Thank You. Amen.
