Lord,
make
an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred let
sow love;
Where there is injury, let
sow pardon;
Where there is doubt, let
sow faith;
Where there is despair, let
sow hope;
Where there is darkness, let
sow light; and
Where there is sadness, let
sow joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that
may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that
receives;
It is in pardoning that
is pardoned; and
It is in dying to self that
is born to eternal life
